Davidson County Department of Senior Services Senior Dynamics program along with dance instructor Dora Kale is offering a line dance workshop. This workshop is designed for anyone who is experiencing difficulty in learning line dance steps. The classes will be held from

9:45 – 10:45 a.m. each Wednesday beginning April 23 through May 28 for a total of six weeks. Classes will be held at the Thomasville Senior Center, located at 211 W. Colonial Drive.

This class is open to all Davidson County residents 55 and older. Cost of the six week program is $25 per person and must be paid in advance.  The deadline to register is April 21.

Have you ever felt as if you have two left feet?  It may be because you don’t understand the technique of the dance step. This class will give you a one-on-one instruction in line dance steps. You will learn the technique of what to do with your feet and how to move your body.

You will learn steps like Jazz Box, Rocking Chair, Kick Ball Change, Hitch, Heel Switches, Monterey Turn, and more. The instructor will teach dance floor etiquette as well as proper body alignment. You will also learn popular line dancing like tush push, watermelon crawl, cruizen or a dance of your choice.
