Bowling for Bowen

Scholarship founder, Harold Bowen, is no stranger to the sports and education world in Davidson County. The two-time Mayor of Lexington coached football and basketball for Lexington High School in 1948 and has over 33 years of teaching experience. His rich leadership and teaching background has helped highlight the importance of education and leadership roles learned both on and off the playing field. The historic “Voice of the Yellow Jackets” retired in 2003 from his 50 years of sports broadcasting. Mr. Bowen founded the Harold Bowen Scholarship Foundation that funds a one-time scholarship to a local high school student who is capable of playing collegiate sports, but unable to receive a sports scholarship. Your support for this tournament helps emphasize the importance of education and sport. Thank you for your continued support.

COSMIC BOWLING FOR BOWEN

That's right!  We're turning the lights off and lighting up the lanes with the best in cosmic style bowling!

Date: Sunday, March 10, 2013
Location: Lex. YMCA Bowling Center
Registration Begins: 1:00pm
Time: 1:30pm—4:30pm
Pre-register by: March 4, 2013

 

ENTRY FEES:

                               $100 dollars for a 4-person team ($25 per person)

Entry fee includes bowling shoes, 3 game set, and meal ticket for the entire team. Each team will bowl a 3-game set which will quality the team for various prizes. Any team combination accepted.

PARTICIPATING SPONSORSHIPS:

Have your company sponsor a the event. Participating Sponsorships are $100.00 and includes a 3 x 5 banner mention on display for the event.
